I thought this was a great, eye-catching billboard for a vineyard. It's April and the local vines are showing new growth.

Summer Wheat 9x12
I liked this barn and the assortment of outbuildings, but when I noticed the swing set next to the barn, it told a story and added that little bit of extra interest that I look for.

Antler Wagon 9x12
Some friends of mine owned a ranch in northern Arizona. When they were out checking their cows in the winter, they would pick up shed mule deer antlers and as they rode back into the yard they would toss them onto this old wagon. Occasionally they sold some to knife makers who would make handles out of them.

Palomas 16x12 - White-winged Doves
White-winged Doves are found in the southwestern United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. They are named for the white patch on their wings which is most visible when in flight. They like warm climates are larger than other doves found in the United States. My Website

This is an old anchor on the front of a ship. There were a lot of interesting shapes and lighting in this one. The pigeon gave it some life..... and a title.

Morning Calm 24x16 - sold
As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed exploring harbors. They are usually hub of activity for people and wildlife. This is Cordova, Alaska early in the morning at low tide but could be any of the picturesque harbors in the Pacific Northwest. This is probably the most detailed painting I have done.

Dos Carlitos 5x7
This is a local restaurant. The red awnings and green trim looked like a fun thing to try in the early morning light. It got pretty involved for a 5x7 but I'm happy with it. The food was good too.
