This is a local restaurant. The red awnings and green trim looked like a fun thing to try in the early morning light. It got pretty involved for a 5x7 but I'm happy with it. The food was good too. My Website

What percentage of the time do you paint en plein air vs studio? Many of your paintings I've looked at tonight seem to be built up from layers of thin color almost sketched on; perhaps with pretty small brushes.
